Welcome to Boating in the Winnebago Area

With the Fox and Wolf Rivers, Lakes Butte des Morts, Poygan, and Winnebago all accessible by boat, you've got miles of scenic shoreline, fishing, swimming, parks and restaurants at your disposal. Not to mention the great summer events happening all over the waterfronts.

Whether you've just begun, or have been on these waters for years, it's a great way to spend time with family and friends.

In the Oshkosh Boat Club it's all about family and friends. Families you'll grow to know and new friends you'll meet.

At corn roasts, swimming parties, dinner cruises, overnight runs to other harbors, and any number of activities that the boat club offers, you'll meet others who share your love of the water and passion for boating and enjoying the many different events we do even in the winter.

Bringing together boaters from all walks of life is what we're here for.

You'll not find a more diverse group of boats or boaters. From pontoons to cabin cruisers, fishing boats to speedboats, any type or size of boat is welcome. Just bring your love of the water and a fun attitude.

The Oshkosh Boat Club has cruises during the summer months and also events are held throughtout the year for your enjoyment. Cruises are designed to acquaint you with members of the club and to assist you in learning the safe navigation of the local waterways. Guests are always welcomed and encouraged at any meeting or event. Some of the major events are:

  • "Let's Go Boating" TV Show
  • Winter Parties
